Wind Energy Technology Summit
The Wind Energy Technology Summit, organised by Sirris/OWI-Lab, is a one-day event dedicated to exploring the latest developments and emerging trends in offshore wind. Each edition brings together experts from industry, research and policy to discuss cutting-edge technologies and topics — from floating wind and digitalisation to end-of-life and circularity challenges. The summit helps ensure that Belgium remains at the forefront of offshore wind expertise and technological progress.

Tailor-made masterclasses
Does your organisation have specific training needs? At OWI-Lab we collaborate closely with you to design and deliver tailor-made sessions, whether in-house or at our facilities. These bespoke programmes are ideal for teams needing targeted training on emerging or advanced topics.

OWI-Metadatabase
The OWI-Metadatabase is the central repository for metadata related to offshore wind energy research, monitoring, and infrastructure. Supporting researchers, engineers, and industry professionals with a homogenized interface to access technical information about offshore wind energy assets.

The OWI-Metadatabase is particularly valuable for facilitating collaboration, ensuring data transparency, and accelerating innovation in the offshore wind sector. It aligns with the broader goals of OWI-Lab to advance sustainable energy solutions through data-driven research.
This database was developed as part of the Smartlife (FOD165) and Windsoil projects (FOD88), funded from the Energy Transition Fund by FPS Economy and EU-funded Willow project (EUAR157)
